Mia has been very active lately. It seems like every time we turn around she is doing something new. We wanted to share a few photos to show everyone Mia's "new" activities.
Mia is a big fan of "V-ups". Any time you lay her on her back she will crunch up for a V-up. She will hold the V-up for over a minute (we timed her) or for a few seconds. Once she relaxes, she pops right back up for another V-up. It is hilarious! Here is a shot of Mia doing a V-up in her track suit.
Mia is very interested in everything Mommy or Daddy is holding in their hands. One day she was sitting on Mike's lap at the breakfast bar and grabbed at his cup. It was empty, so he let her go. This is a reenactment. She will do this with any empty cup we set her in front of.
Cousin Elyn came over for dinner the other night so we broke out Mia's highchair for her to use. Mia is nursing exclusively, so the highchair is only used to hold toys during dinner time right now. At least she is able to officially join us at the table!
Mia loves her feet/toes! She loves to try and put them in her mouth. When she's on the floor, on the changing table, pretty much any time she can see them.
Just this week Mia started to sit up almost completely on her own. Before we know it she'll be doing it by herself. The first picture is with the help of one of Mom's fingers. The second is on her own, the monkey sit.
During tummy time, Mia does not seem interested in using her hands to help her roll over. Instead she has decided she likes to do the "superwoman" move instead.
Lastly, Mia is obsessed with Rooney! She watches his every move. This is her watching him play on the floor.
Hope you enjoyed "all things new". We will try our best to keep everyone posted on Mia's growth and development. Since she's growing up so fast, it will be quite a challenge, but we will do our best.
Love to all -- xxoo
